Disclosed are bis(5-aryl-2-pyridyl) derivatives represented by the following formula (1) or salts thereof:

Medicines, IgE antibody production inhibitors, medicinal compositions and treatment methods for allergic immune diseases, all of which make use of<!-- EPO <DP n="8001"> --> the bis(5-aryl-2-pyridyl) derivatives or salts thereof, are also disclosed.
