<p>The fluid release valve is especially for a beer barrel. It has a knob which may be turned and pushed inward to shut off the flow of beer. An outer cylinder (2) is sealed into the wall of the container (1). It projects into the container and may be sealed at the inner end. It has inner ribs (7) which engage with springs (6) on the inner body (49). When the knob (50) is pulled out and turned, beer may flow through a slit (48) in the outer cylinder, through a slit (51) in the inner cylinder and through an expanding bore (52) to the outlet (53).</p> |
