FIELD: equipment for wire storage and wire unwinding from reel. SUBSTANCE: package comprises outer box having rectangular bottom wall and four side panels extending upwards from bottom wall. Package also includes octagonal inner liner having eight walls. Every second wall is brought into contact with area of one box side panel. Panel has flat securing ring which contacts with wire reel top. Ring orifice forms inner edge. Ring circumference has several projections extending beyond reel periphery. Adjacent projections are connected by projection edges directed into reel through reel periphery. At least one projection cooperates with liner into corner between adjacent walls thereof for prevention of ring rotation relative liner and for prevention of wire passing outside ring circumference. EFFECT: prevention of wire coils muddling up, possibility of uniform wire distribution. 36 cl,7 dwg
