PURPOSE: A method for storing in a flash memory of a mobile communication terminal is provided to store the first message in a start address, and to store a next message in a next address of a final address of the stored message as the start address, thereby storing more text messages in the same memory region. CONSTITUTION: If a mobile communication terminal transmits or receives a text message, the mobile communication terminal determines whether to store the text message(S110,S120). If the mobile communication terminal determines to store the text message, the mobile communication terminal confirms whether a prestored message exists(S130). If not, the mobile communication terminal stores the text message with a preset index value from a start address of a pre-assigned region where the text message is to be stored(S140). If the prestored message exists, the mobile communication terminal confirms a final address of the previous message, and stores the text message with the preset index value from a next address of a final address(S150).
