<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the efficiency of work of locking a connector on an electric junction box. <P>SOLUTION: In the electric junction box 10 for automobile, a protective cover 17 is installed on the upper face of a case 11b. Further, the side face 11a of the case is provided with locked portions 13 on which the locking portions Ca of the connector C is locked. Guide ribs 14 are protruded from the peripheral portion of the upper face 11b of the case in positions where the guide ribs are abutted against the outer faces of at least the opposite side walls 17a of the cover 17, and which correspond to the locked portions 13. The guide ribs 14 are provided with first sloped portions 14a-1 which are formed on the inner surface 14a abutted against the cover side walls 17a and tapered as they go toward the upper ends. The outer faces 14b of the guide ribs 14 are extended to the locked portions 13. Thus, the guide ribs 14 are used both for positioning when the cover 17 is installed and for positioning when the locking portions Ca of the connector C are inserted and locked in the locked portions 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
