METHOD FOR PRODUCING MULTICOPY DISPLAYING PHAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a phage which controls the number of copies of the objective polypeptide displayed in the head part of a phage used in a phage display and displays the desired number of copies.

SOLUTION: The expression amount of a fusion protein between the phage coat protein and the objective peptide is controlled by using a suppressor tRNA to a stop codon, which is obtained by inserting the stop codon between a DNA encoding a phage coat protein and a DNA encoding the objective polypeptide and has temperature-sensitive suppressor activity.
