<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for effectively removing an odor component in gas, an air pollution component over an extended time period. <P>SOLUTION: In the treatment method for gas, after the humidity in gas to be treated is regulated to 85% or more of the relative humidity, it is brought into contact with an adsorbent, especially an activated carbon content honeycomb adsorbent in which a plurality of layers are laminated in order of increasing the content of activated carbon along the direction of flow of the gas to be treated in the presence of an oxidizing fluid such as hydrogen peroxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
