PURPOSE: A compact zoom lens is provided which has good lens performance and small movement of pint according to temperature variation as using a plastic lens for low cost, by minimizing the number of lens configuration. CONSTITUTION: A zoom lens comprises the first lens group(1) having a positive refractive index and the second lens group(2) having a negative refractive index from an object, and performs zoom function by changing a gap between the first lens group and the second lens group. The first lens group comprises the first lens having a positive refractive index in a meniscus shape having a convex surface toward the object, and the second lens having a negative refractive index, and the third lens having a positive refractive index. The second lens group comprises the fourth lens having a positive refractive index, and the fifth lens having a negative refractive index. The first lens and the second lens have a plastic lens respectively.
