摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder combustion device that can optimally burn even inflammable powder with relatively large average particle size, can be made using low refractory material with comparatively low heat-resistance, and can be easily downsized. SOLUTION: The powder combustion device of the present invention includes a burner that burns the inflammable powder in a sub-combustion chamber defined by a cylindrical casing with an longitudinal end closed. The casing has a burner throat formed on a peripheral wall and a partition plate that can form a gate at the position closer to an open end than the position on which the burner throat is formed. The burner is provided with a first flow path into which the inflammable powder is flowed with carrier air and is attached to the burner throat to inject the inflammable powder in the circumferential direction along the inner circumference of the casing.
