PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic faucet with few malfunction capable of surely making human body detection while having a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The automatic faucet includes a plurality of light emission elements 11a and 11b arranged to different positions, a light receiving element 12 receiving a light 1r' irradiated from the light emission elements 11a and 11b and reflected by a detected object 8, a solenoid valve 6 opening and closing a channel 5 connected to a discharge port 4 and a control section 20 controlling the irradiation of the light 1r by the light emission elements 11a and 11b and, at the same time, opening the solenoid by detecting the detected object 8 by making use of a detecting signal S of the light by the light receiving element 12, the light emission elements 11a and 11b adjust an irradiated angle to arrange so that irradiated extents Aa and Ab of the light can be overlapped and, at the same time, the control section 20 detects the detected object 8 when the reflection together with the light 1r from a plurality of light emission elements 11a and 11b by the detected object 8 is detected.
