PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which facilitates a maintenance such as cleaning of an exhaust port for exhausting an air flow coming into a cyclone dust collecting part, and which enables fine dust to be efficiently separated in the cyclone dust collecting part. SOLUTION: An intake guide 20, which communicates with a connecting pipe 3 via an inflow port 5a, is provided with first and second dust collecting chambers 7 and 8 which are partitioned by a partition wall 9 with an opening 9a, and a detachable exhaust cylinder 15 with the exhaust port 5b which communicates with a coupling member 10 serving as an external exhaust path. The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a ring 21 which is slidable along the side surface of an exhaust cylinder body 11, a brush 22 which is protruded from an inner periphery and slid while being brought into contact with the exhaust port 5b along with the sliding of the ring 21, and a dust tray 14 wherein a dust receiving gap 14a is provided between the tray 14 and the side surface of the body 11. A knob 19, which is provided below the exhaust cylinder 15, is pulled down so that the dust, which adheres to the body 11, can be collected into the gap 14a of the tray 14 by pulling down the ring 21 via a wire 18 which is fixed to the ring 21.
