<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head superior in a hitting feeling, and having a high driving angle of a ball. <P>SOLUTION: This golf club head 1 has a head body 10, a face plate 40 fixed to a front face of the head body 10, a weight 50 fixed to a front face of a sole part of the head body 10a and an elastic body 30 loaded in a first recessed part 13 of the golf club head 1. The elastic body 30 is compressed, and is brought into close contact with a rear surface of the face plate 40. A head body lower part having the first and second recessed parts 13 and 15 is a swelling part 17 swelling to the rear of the head body. JIS C hardness of the elastic body 30 is desirably 15 to 80, specially 18 to 70, particularly 20 to 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
