<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric porcelain composition having a lowered burning temperature, and to provide a dielectric resonator and a microwave communication apparatus which are inexpensive and excellent in performance. <P>SOLUTION: The gallium-added dielectric porcelain composition comprises m (wt%) oxide represented by the composition formula: [(Ln)<SB>1+x</SB>(Al<SB>1-y</SB>Ga<SB>y</SB>)<SB>1-x</SB>O<SB>3</SB>] and n (wt%) oxide represented by the composition formula: [(M)<SB>1+z</SB>Ti<SB>1-z</SB>O<SB>3</SB>] (wherein, -0.5 ≤ x ≤ 0.5, 0 < y ≤ 1, -0.5 ≤ z ≤ 0.5, and m + n = 100). By adding, to Al, a part of or the whole of the maximum addition amount of Ga (by which Al is entirely replaced with Ga), the sintering temperature of the dielectric porcelain composition is lowered so that the reduction of product prices and mass productivity are realized through the reduction of prices of a heat generating heater, a heat-resistant furnace, and energy consumption. A dielectric porcelain 2 is formed from the dielectric porcelain composition and is arranged between input/output terminals 8, 10 as a dielectric resonator 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
