PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply distinguish a charging state of a battery pack 4 constituted of a plurality of storage batteries. SOLUTION: Sliding members 6 capable of sliding are provided on the insertion part surface of the battery pack 4 that drives a power tool by being inserted in the power tool and is charged by being inserted in a charger. When the battery pack is inserted in the power tool or the charger, the sliding members 6 are made to slide mutually in reverse direction by the housing side protrusion 10 or the charger side protrusion 13, and the charging state of the battery pack 4 can be simply and easily distinguished by the position of the sliding members 6.
