<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a possibility that dew condensation water generated in a fan casing leaks outside of the fan casing. <P>SOLUTION: A ventilation fan for a duct is provided with a main body case 5 in which an exhaust port is formed on a side face and which has the fan 14 inside it and the fan casing surrounding the fan 14 and guiding air sucked into the main body case 5 into the exhaust port. The fan casing is provided with a side wall 19 whose lower part is opened and a bottom plate 20 having a suction port 22 and mounted on an opening fringe of the side wall 19. A join part 36 of the bottom plate 20 and the side wall 19 is positioned at a position lower than a lower end A of the fan 14. Dew condensation water condensed in the fan casing does not receive large air pressure from the fan when passing through the join part to eliminate the possibility that dew condensation water intrudes into the joint part and leaks to the outside of the fan casing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
