Disclosed is a device for producing blown film tubes (3) that are provided with at least one self-cleaning surface. Said device has the following characteristics: - an extruder (1) supplying melted plastic; - a blow head (2) comprising an annular discharge gap; and - a squeezing device (4). The inventive device is characterized by the fact that it comprises a measuring device which analyzes how many elevations (10) occur per unit of area or unit of length in at least some sectors (22, 23) of at least one circumferential area (21) of the film tube (3).
