PURPOSE: A method for artificially cultivating Sparassis crispa by using a medium comprising conifer or broad-leaved tree powder and a light emitting method is provided to promote thickness growth of fruit bodies and consequently to obtain large fruit bodies and greatly increase crop yield of Sparassis crispa. CONSTITUTION: A culture medium comprising conifer powder and broad-leaved tree powder in a weight ratio of 5:1 to 3:1 is sterilized at 110 to 130deg.C and 1.0 to 1.2 atm, inoculated with an inoculant seed of Sparassis crispa and cultured for 50 to 60 days at 22 to 25deg.C until mushroom mycelium is spread. After the spread of mushroom mycelium, the temperature of the medium is raised to 2 to 30deg.C, lowered to 20 to 26deg.C and then cultured for 2 to 7 days while maintaining a predetermined level of illumination of 600 to 10,000 lux. |
