PURPOSE: A semiconductor memory device including a memory having an active restoration function is provided to restore a result obtained from a sensing operation of a sense amplifier into a data line without using an additional circuit and performing an additional operation. CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor memory device including a memory having an active restoration function includes a sensing line, a data line, a memory(310,320), and a sense amplifier(330). The sensing line is arranged to the first direction. The data line is arranged to the first direction. The memory(310,320) is connected between the sensing line and the data line. The memory(310,320) has an active restoration function. The sense amplifier(330) is connected between the sensing line and the data line in order to sense and amplify data on the sensing line and output the inverted data to the data line. The polarity of the data of the sensing line is opposite to the polarity of the data of the data line. The data of the data line are stored into the memory(310,320).
