FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology, herbicides. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new derivatives of di- or trifluoromethanesulfonylanilide of the general formula (I): wherein when R1 represents hydrogen atom or alkyl group with 1-5 carbon atoms then R2 represents hydrogen atom; or when R1 represents alkoxyalkyl group with 2-6 carbon atoms then R2 represents hydrogen atom or fluorine atom; or to their salts that are effective for removing the broad variety of weeds involving that are difficult for inhibition weeds in rice fields but these salts are safety for mammals. Invention relates also to methods for preparing compounds of the general formula (I) by interaction of 2-substituted derivative of aniline of the general formula (II): with corresponding di- or trifluoromethanesulfonyl halide or trifluoromethanesulfonic acid anhydride, or by reduction of compound of the general formula (III): wherein R1,R2 have above given values. The synthesized compound is converted if necessary to its salt. Invention relates also to herbicide comprising indicated compounds as an active component and to new parent compounds of the formula (III).
