PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insecticidal compound having a new molecular structure and considered to act in a way different from that of a commercially available insecticide. SOLUTION: The agricultural chemical composition contains a nicotinamidrazone derivative represented by formula (I) or a salt thereof as an active ingredient. In formula (I), R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each a hydrogen atom or the like; R<SP>3</SP>and R<SP>4</SP>are each independently a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, an ethyl group, an isopropyl group, a tert-butyl group, a 3-6C cycloalkyl group, or the like.
