PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclone having improved separation performance and capable of aiming at cost reduction. SOLUTION: The cyclone 1 is provided in a chamber 7. The cyclone 1 is provided with an inside cylinder 2 formed to penetrate an upper part separator 5 of the chamber 7 and an outside cylinder 3 formed to penetrate a lower part separator 6 of the chamber 7. A spiral blade 4 wound around the inside cylinder 2 is provided in a space of a superimposed part of the outside cylinder 3 on the inside cylinder 2 to form a spiral flow passage. Oil vapor introduced into the chamber 7 under a prescribed pressure flows in from the upper end of the cyclone 1 as shown by the arrow (a) and flows down along the spiral blade 4 in the space between the inside cyclone 1 and the outside cylinder while turning as shown by the arrow (b). In this time, oil mist (m) is centrifugally separated from the oil vapor and is dropped into a discharge chamber C as shown by the arrow (c). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
