PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of efficiently preventing the adhesion of obelias having resistance against hydrogen peroxide by adding a small amount of hydrogen peroxide. SOLUTION: In preventing the adhesion of obelias in a cooling seawater system by adding hydrogen peroxide or a hydrogen paroxide generating agent to the cooling seawater system, it is characterized in that a magnetic field is applied to at least a part of the flow channel of the cooling seawater system containing hydrogen peroxide.
