<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer device which uses toner and reduces power consumption while maintaining the fixing property of an image. <P>SOLUTION: The printer device is equipped with an ambient temperature detection means (first thermistor 12) for detecting ambient temperature, an image data amount decision means (print data lightness and heaviness decision part 31) for deciding the amount of image data to be printed out, a heating means (halogen heater 8d) for heating a fixing device for heating and fixing a toner image on transfer paper, and a heating temperature control means (fixing roller heating control part 34) for controlling the heating temperature of the heating means in accordance with the ambient temperature detected by the ambient temperature detection means and the amount of the image data decided by the image data amount decision means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
