PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multipolar earphone plug connection device with high reliability having a stable waterproofing property and a connection property even when a multipolar earphone plug is used. SOLUTION: The multipolar earphone plug connection device comprises a multipolar earphone plug 7 having a cylindrical terminal 10 at the outer periphery of the base of a plug terminal 9 projecting from the end surface 8a of a body 8, and a plug insertion part 3 mounted to an opening 4 of a cabinet 1 to which the earphone plug is connected. A ring-shaped convex part 21 contacting with the outside of a ring-shaped convex part 22 of the earphone plug is formed at the opening 4 of the cabinet 1. A stable waterproofing property and a connection property are obtained by fitting the ring-shaped convex part 21 to the ring-shaped convex part 22. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
