PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box-shaped game machine with a controller inside, in which the inside of a box body is prevented from being heated to high temperatures to enable the controller to always and efficiently radiate heat. SOLUTION: This box-shaped game machine is equipped with the box body (a front mask part 20 and a base body part 30) formed in a box shape with an opening part 33 on a part of the outer face and the controller 50 mounted in the box body to control the game machine. The controller 50 is equipped with electronic parts accompanying heat generating, an exhaust device to discharge hot air generated by the electronic parts to outside the controller 50, and an exhaust port formed in a part of the outer face of the controller 50 and communicated with the exhaust device. The opening part 33 of the box body is communicated with the exhaust port of the controller 50. A duct 240 to discharge hot air discharged through the exhaust port by the exhaust device from the opening part 33 to the outside of the box body is provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
