<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbonaceous fiber-woven fabric balancing properties such as gas-permeation property, electric conductivity, water-retenting and water-discharging properties, thickness unevenness, etc., and suitable for a solid polymer type gas-diffusion layer material for a fuel cell as a long length form having a wide utility. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the carbonaceous fiber-woven fabric comprises continuously performing the carbonizing treatment of a long length-formed carbonaceous precursor fiber-woven fabric under an inert gas atmosphere. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
