<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device and its manufacturing method capable of obtaining excellent sealability when abutting to a moving side abutting surface with a fixing side abutting surface by devising the composition of the safety device. <P>SOLUTION: A seat surface 4a is formed of brass of soft material, that is, non-ferrous material, and a seat surface 3c is formed of carbon steel of hard material, that is, ferrous material. The seat surface 3c is pressed to abut to the seat surface 4a by pressing a piston 3, and an annular seal part is formed between both seat surfaces 3c, 4a. When the both seat surfaces 3c, 4a abut and the annular seal part is formed between the both surfaces, the safety device 1 and its manufacturing method capable of obtaining the excellent sealability can be provided at the time of shutting off a fuel passage 2a by increasing the amount of the deformation of the seat surface 4a formed of brass of soft material, and expanding the width of the seal part more widely than the conventional safety device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
