PURPOSE: An umbrella with an improved structure is provided to help a user to more easily fold and carry the umbrella so that the user does not have to worry about getting wet by folding a water-dripping umbrella. CONSTITUTION: The umbrella being easy to fold and carry includes a connector; an umbrella alignment bar(21) hinged to the outside of the connector; and an umbrella sheath whose lower part being connected to an umbrella sheath lower connecter(31) and whose upper part being connected to an umbrella sheath upper connector(41). The umbrella alignment bar(21) functions as a guide for the umbrella sheath upper connector(41) to ensure that the umbrella is aligned neatly. For example, a projection or groove whose lower part being hinged and whose upper part having an additional bar is formed at the outside of the umbrella alignment bar(21) to ease folding the umbrella.
