PURPOSE: A design method for a swirl test injector is provided to obtain data with changing each parameter of a swirl test injector, thereby manufacturing the swirl test injector at low cost. CONSTITUTION: A relative length of an injection nozzle formed at a front end of a body of an injector is optimized. The optimum thickness of tangential channel is calculated to decide a width of a fuel path formed at an outer peripheral surface of a swirl chamber. The total length of the swirl chamber is calculated. An inlet angle of the injection nozzle connecting an outlet part of the swirl chamber with an inlet of the injection nozzle is decided. Injected particles are analyzed to grasp an influence of high frequency vibration.
