PURPOSE: A method for photographing using a mobile communication terminal is provided to set a predetermined time by using a self timer function, and to photograph at the predetermined time with a self timer, thereby photographing a user together. CONSTITUTION: A user selects a photographing function, and controls an angle of a camera and a direction of a mobile communication terminal as confirming an image to be photographed(S110). The user decides whether a self timer function is used(S120). If so, the user selects a timer value according to a photographing distance, and sets a self timer(S130,S140). The user is automatically photographed together with the image. If the user does not use the self timer function, the user directly photographs the image(S150).
