<p>An invention relates to ferrous metallurgy and concerns to a method of reducing iron oxides in reducing furnace with a mobile hearth. Hearth material is laid on the mobile hearth in the form of a layer before the mixture supplying, containing carbonaceous reducer and iron oxides, forming in such way a reducing hearth, with the possibility of total reducing thereof, and metal iron is produced simultaneously with reducing by hearth material part or the whole reducing hearth, which is wearing out onstream. A method allows to remove or repair the hearth surface easily, even when metal iron powder is buried in the surface of the hearth.</p> |
