<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out bright and high-quality transmissive display and reflective display in an electrooptical device such as a transflective liquid crystal device. <P>SOLUTION: A TFT array substrate (10) is provided with a plurality of transflective pixel electrodes (9a) respectively having a transmissive region and a reflective region, data lines (6a) and capacitance lines (300). A counter substrate (20) is provided with a color filter (500) with six colors and a light shielding film (23). Moreover, a light shielding pattern (410) which is formed on the TFT array substrate while being extended or cut off from the capacitance lines and, seen two-dimensionally, is extended along both edges of the data lines and covers both end parts of a boundary of deep and pale color materials constituting the color filter is provided.
