PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condenser lens fixing structure of a scanning focusing optical system which is resistant to a temperature environmental change in the surroundings of an optical housing. SOLUTION: Ultraviolet ray setting type adhesives 104 and 114 are applied to an upper and a lower faces of a member 103 for fixing which is a glass molding of an ultraviolet ray transmittance of 50% or higher. The member for fixing is placed on a bottom face of the housing 102. A condenser lens 101 is placed on the member for fixing, and at the same time, the lens is positioned by butting one end in a longitudinal direction of the lens against a boss 105c and butting one ends in a lateral direction against bosses 105a and 105b. Thereafter, the lens and the member for fixing are bonded and fixed to the member for fixing and the housing, respectively simultaneously by applying ultraviolet rays from above the lens towards the member for fixing. Since the lens is fixed to the housing via the member for fixing which is a different member from the housing, the member for fixing functions to ease a temperature change of the housing when the temperature change is transmitted to the lens.
