<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument and system for measuring antenna by which the antenna characteristic of an antenna to be measured can be measured with high accuracy in an actually used state with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: The antenna measuring instrument outputs a first frequency signal from a transmitter 1 and transmits the signal from a first antenna 3. Portable radio equipment 2 receives the first frequency signal through an antenna 4 to be measured, detects the receiving level of the signal by means of a radio section 5, and transmits the information on the receiving level from the antenna 4 after converting the information into a second frequency signal. The instrument receives the second frequency signal through a second antenna 8, and detects the receiving level of the signal by means of a receiver 9. At this time, the portable radio equipment 2 is rotationally driven by means of a turntable 7. A controller 10 obtains the information on the radiation directivity of the antenna 4 by obtaining the information on the receiving level of the first frequency signal at the antenna 4 to be measured from the information on rotational angle of the turntable 7, and the information on the receiving level of the second frequency signal obtained by means of the receiver 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
