PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network facsimile machine for preventing services from being illegitimately utilized while providing generic and extensive services independently of a platform. SOLUTION: The network facsimile machine transmits / receives a facsimile image data to / from other facsimile machine or host device via a conventional channel network and the Internet. Then the network facsimile machine is provided with a Web service interface for faxing from the host device, and is characterized in to fax a facsimile document after returning a transmission response with respect to a transmission request including destination information of faxing and image information to be faxed via the Web service interface.
