<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set a broadcast transmission time interval in compliance with the UDP / IP to a proper value in response to revision of a system configuration and variations in a transmission load condition. <P>SOLUTION: In a supervisory control system wherein a supervisory control target apparatus makes broadcast transmission to a supervisory control computer at the broadcast transmission time interval in compliance with the UDP/IP, the supervisory control computer integrates missing of serial numbers of received data as the number of missing data upon reception of broadcast communication data and informs the supervisory control target apparatus about the number of missing data, and the supervisory control target apparatus integrates the notices of the number of missing data from the supervisory control computer (S4, S5), checks the integrated number of missing data at a recheck period of the broadcast transmission time interval (S6), and performs recalculation: reduction of the broadcast transmission time interval by a prescribed ratio when the number of missing data is 0 or extension of the broadcast transmission time interval by a prescribed ratio when the number of missing data is a permissible value or over (S7, S8). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
