PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inner mirror device for a vehicle having a built-in display function which does not reduce an effective visual range of the mirror, and capable of obtaining the display function at low cost. SOLUTION: In the inner mirror device 10 for the vehicle, a frame body 16 holding the mirror 14 is mounted on an opening 12A of a housing body 12, and a light emitting device 40 is housed in the housing composed of the housing body 12 and the frame body 16. LEDs 54, 56 of the light emitting device 40 is arranged so as to emit light between the inner surface of the frame body 16 and the end of the mirror 14 side. The light emitted from the LED 54 or the like is incident from the end surface of the glass board composed of the mirror 14, penetrates a glass board to get to the outside of the housing near the inner edge of the frame board 16 in the mirror 14 (glass board), and achieves the display function of information without reducing the effective visual range of the mirror 14 by visualizing the light by a driver.
