PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel driving device which reduces level differences of output data (overdrive data) as much as possible while reducing the memory capacity of a lookup table. SOLUTION: Upper four bits of input data and upper four bits of preceding frame data from a frame memory 1 are given to a lookup table (LUT) 3 as an address. Lower four bits out of 8-bit data in the lookup table are complement data. Four bits of complement data in the lookup table 3 at the time of taking upper four bits of preceding frame data and upper four bits of input data as the address, lower four bits of preceding frame data, and lower four bits of input data are inputted to an arithmetic circuit 4, and output data of the lookup table 3 is corrected by an arithmetic result to obtain overdrive data.
