<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing checking data forming method, with which checking data can be easily and efficiently formed by a masking plate. <P>SOLUTION: In the printing checking data forming method, with which the checking data are formed by obtaining mask opening data from an image obtained by picking up the masking plate, at the aquisition of a plurality of images through the successive movement of an image-picking-up visual field 20a to the visual field positions arranged in a lattice, under the condition that inchoate opening parts 16b(X) and 16b(Y) due to the projection of some part of an opening part are detected, ranges BX2 and BY2 for excepting from a data-converting object in the image based on sides BY1 and BY2 are decided so as to overlap the image-picking-up visual field by the ranges BX2 and BY2 in the movement of the image-picking-up visual field to the adjoining visual field position in order to include these excepted openings in the adjoining image-picking-up visual field. Thus, the projection trouble of the opening part in the image is settled, resulting in allowing to easily and efficiently form the checking data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
