<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide (1) a new azo dyestuff showing an excellent hue and fastness, (2) a coloring composition for image formation preferably used for preparing a stain, etc. for staining an ink for inkjet printing, etc., an ink sheet in a thermosensitive recording material, a color toner for electrophotography, a color filter used in a display such as LCD and PDP or in an image pick-up device such as CCD and various fibers and (3) an ink and a process for inkjet recording which form an image showing a good hue and a high fastnesses to light and activated gas, especially ozone gas, in the environment. <P>SOLUTION: The new azo dyestuff is represented by formula (I) and is used for obtaining the coloring composition for image formation, the ink and the process for inkjet recording, the thermosensitive recording material, the color toner and the color filter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
