<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, if a seating position is not normal, an airbag hits a seated occupant and may damage the occupant when the airbag is inflated. <P>SOLUTION: An airbag 1 is fitted to a seat belt 51 of a seat belt mechanism of an automobile. The airbag 1 has an inflatable chamber 2 and a gas feed duct to feed gas to inflate the chamber 2. How to fold the airbag 1 is devised.
