PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump miniaturizable while satisfactorily keeping cavitation performance without increasing the rotating speed of the pump, and showing a stable head-discharge curve. SOLUTION: This pump has an impeller 1, an exit guide blade 2, and a plurality of grooves 124 arranged on a pump casing inner surface 121a opposed to the impeller 1 in the gradient direction of fluid pressure connecting the impeller inlet side to the blade existing area of the pump casing inner surface 121a. In this pump, the tip-side diameter of the meridian surface of the impeller is set constant from the inlet side to the outlet side, the diameter of the impeller hub is set to a diagonal flow shape increased from the inlet side to the outlet side, the tip-side diameter of the meridian surface of the exit guide blade is set constant from the inlet side to the outlet side, and the diameter of the exit guide blade hub is set constant or gradually reduced from the inlet side to the outlet side. The start end of the groove 124 is located on the upstream side of the impeller and its terminal end is located between the blade inlet tip and blade outlet end of the impeller 1.
