PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize use of a strap mounted on a strip material for supporting and to retain precision of adjustment of actuation parameter of a pressing machine. SOLUTION: The rotary pressing machine consists of an actuating cylinder 2 provided with an embossed plate 16 with a material pattern, an anvil cylinder 4, means 2b, 10a and LM for moving the actuating cylinder, a means 20 for heating the actuating cylinder and controlling its temperature, means 2a and 10 for applying prescribed compressive stress between the actuating cylinder and the anvil cylinder, a bearing means 9 and means 10, 11, 17 and 18 for adjusting space 13 between the actuating cylinder and the anvil cylinder.
