摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device in which dynamic range expansion can be surely executed by suppressing sensitivity deviation caused by a sub-photosensitive region, and to provide a method for adjusting output corresponding to sensitivity of its light receiving element. SOLUTION: A digital camera 10 supplies control signals 20b, 20c to a timing signal generator 24 and a driver 26, by adjusting each exposure time against a main photosensitive region 140b and a sub-photosensitive region 140c at a system control unit 20 from a deviation direction and a deviation amount in the vertical direction against a normal opening. It sends a timing signal 24d generated by the timing signal generator 24 to a driver 26. The driver 26 obtains signal charges 14c in which the deviation is corrected by adjusting the exposure time by simultaneously finishing the exposure, by supplying a drive signal 26d corresponding to the timing signal 24d and a drive signal 26c against the opening/closing of a mechanical shutter 12a to a solid-state imaging element 14b.
