FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, namely production of ferroalloys, for example melting low phosphorus manganese containing semifinished product - conversion manganese slag used for making metallic manganese, concentrated silicomanganese and low-phosphorus carbonaceous ferromanganese. SUBSTANCE: charge includes ferromanganese concretions of predetermined content in quantity 90 - 95 mass% and carbonaceous reducing agent in quantity 5 - 10 mass %. EFFECT: enlarged range of raw materials for producing manganese due to using ferromanganese concretions, simplified composition of charge, possibility for producing conversion manganese slag suitable for making high-quality manganese ferroalloys. 2 tbl, 1 ex |
