The two-axle drive unit (1) has an axle gearbox (4,5) associated with each of the two axles (2,3) supported by a common torque support (11). The two axles have a common drive (6) and the axle gearboxes are longitudinally braced by an intermediate shaft (7). The torque support consists of two parallel linkages (12) connected to the axle gearboxes.
