METHOD FOR PRINTING BANNER PAGE AND NETWORK PRINTING SYSTEM THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A method for printing a banner page and a network printing system for the same are provided to print the banner page after generating the document information for printing work, which includs total page of the document inputted by a user into the banner page. CONSTITUTION: The system includes more than one client terminals(T1) and a network printer(13) connecting to the client terminal through the network. The client terminal includes a GDI(Graphic Display Interface)(22) providing a user interface to enable the user input the information for the printing work when the print data of one print work is completely spooled, and an NIC(Network Interface Card) transmitting the document information for printing work inputted through the user interface and the spooled print data. The network printer includes the NIC(26) receiving the document information for printing work and the spooled print data transmitted from the client, and a printer controller(27) printing the print data after generating the print work document information into the banner page.
