PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control drain valve device located in a site where a release wire touches hot water, preventing thermal expansion/contraction of an outer tube caused by hot water. SOLUTION: In the remote control drain valve device opening/closing by the operation given to a control section (2) provided with a drain opening (1) with an opening/closing structure installed at the bottom face of a tank, a control transmission member transmitting an operation given to the control section (2) to the opening/closing installed at an arbitrary position, made of a resin material and constituted of an outer tube (3a) to which a metallic film so thin as a flexibility can be obtained is stuck and a bar shaped metallic material at the periphery and provided with an inner wire (3b) retractably sliding in the outer tube (3a) and having flexibility in the side face direction and rigidity in the axial direction and release wire (3).
