PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide creation of metadata with respect to recorded contents recording an event on real time basis to a user.

SOLUTION: The contents providing server 1 displays available events in a user portable terminal 3, and the user selects an event. The contents providing server 1 generates a metadata input form from data of an event management database 15. In the user portable terminal 3, by pressing an input key, metadata corresponding to the input key is selected or inputted. The inputted data is sent to the contents providing server 1. The contents providing server 1 records reception time data, and it stores the time data and the received metadata in a metadata database 17.
