PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved optical analysis system for enhancing the response speed and sensitivity by increasing a surface area of a solid phase, reducing the diffusion length and reinforcing optical coupling to an excitation light source between the solid phases and coupling between the solid phase and a detected object. SOLUTION: An apparatus for testing a liquid sample is combined with a quantitative detection system, disposed properly in a conduit so as to determine the quantity of electromagnetic rays internally radiated from a hollow translucent conduit means suitable for a liquid flow in the apparatus and having a substantially uniform cross section dimension and a part of the conduit means.
